A moment in Malaga

It's funny how things change, for years the only people that I ever travelled with were my family, I hadn't left the country without mum or dad until I was eighteen; we realised that although that used to be the case, it's very different now. We all do our own thing now, these past few years we hadn't been away together and the pace of our lives were never going to slow down anytime soon, so a family holiday was was. We decided to leave on Wednesday and fly home on the Sunday giving us enough time to enjoy the good weather, swim by the pool, chill, spend time with each other and relax all together. As a family it was just want we needed, we ate beautiful food, drank great wine and we got to run every morning which was honestly luxury as the mornings were getting colder at home and there is nothing nicer than going for a run in the heat. We were never the type of family to go on a week long holiday and lie by the pool, there was always a purpose to our holidays, going here, seeing this; this holiday was very different.
We woke early in the morning, got kited out in our running gear, ran for an hour or more back jumped into the pool, got changed, had a beautiful big brunch normally around 2/3 by the time we got organised, then we spent the evening, reading, sleeping or just relaxing. We took a walk in the evening along the water and around the streets stopping in the local restaurants for dinner.
I booked us into a great Airbnb, everything we needed and just what we were looking for. Cristobal was the perfect host and was just a phone call away, I would recommend it to anyone looking a quiet relaxing get away.
